Abstract: Everything in the universe, including the universe itself, is in motion. These rhythms are not arbitrary and are known to emerge from the structural relationship between a driving force, the medium and the spatial boundary. The pattern morphologies that we observe throughout the universe and across scales suggest that resonance is not incidental to form and could be identified as the mechanism by which form appears. In this article, we postulate that resonance fundamentally acts as a negentropic force throughout the universe, interacting with other forces in the formation of matter and the accumulation of energy on a micro and macroscopic scale. We introduce the concept of resonance potentials that manifest as quantum harmonic oscillators in the frequency domain and determine the pattern formation and morphology of objects. We discuss the theoretical definition and experimental observations underlying this theory, as well as its practical and philosophical implications.
